Leary always! DNA Code message

Warm planetary greetings to you all!

Following the invitation of my dear friend, Gilles Morand, indefectible evolutionary agent and faithful ambassador of the exploratory work of Dr. Timothy Leary, it is with great honor that I take the liberty of writing these few words concerning my encounter with the Doctor!

Circa 1973

At the dawn of my twenties. A friend offered me as a gift the book: "Neurologique" in French version where it was written on the cover: "There are no "mental illnesses", there are only unknown or poorly explored nerve circuits!".

Boom!!! A burst of freshness for the mind! A sense of belonging to something other than the inner understanding of our reason for being as a human species.
Throughout this reading, I suddenly feel inspired by this exceptional proposition of our relationship to our reason for being as humans on this planet and beyond our consciousness in this cosmic universe that was so "esoteric" at the time...and just as mysterious today

Through all the propositions of the moment to get a head start in my young, changing brain, finally a reassuring, comforting and above all logical signal for a questioning and developing mind...looking for a reason to be and a path in order to better adapt to its reality of the moment. A real existential lifeline. Finally a reference that seems to fit into a neuro-cerebral logic.

Obviously, Timothy Leary's name has always been associated primarily with psychedelic psychotropic drugs. The timeless "Pope of LSD." A trademark promulgated by the media that is actually just the tip of the iceberg of what he was offering. Dr.Leary was going far beyond the use of psycho-triggering substances...he was suggesting an alternative view of our purely earthly reality. In my humble opinion, it is only a simple development tool. Valuable of course...but still a tool to be used sparingly, under control. "Dosage...Set...Setting" as he used to say so well. Without these basic parameters, psychedelic substances can lead to confusion...whereas Dr. Leary promoted it as a tool for evolutionary personal development and not "de-volutionary".

For my part, my psychedelic experiences at the time contributed positively to my personal evolution thanks to the advice of the good doctor.

1977 - Exo-Psychology

A new proposal from the doctor with the headline:

"A manual on the use of the human nervous system according to the instructions of the manufacturers".

A logical continuation of "Neuro-Logism". Our nature is based first and foremost on a nervous system whose central HQ is the brain...a hyper computer capable of reprogramming and re-imprinting itself. Everyone is his own "brain master".

Suddenly, all socio-religious references lose their value. Dr. Leary reveals to us that we can treat ourselves, at the very least modify our psycho-social programming imposed on us since birth.

De-programming and re-programming ourselves in order to better evolve and adapt to this planetary existence, all through different stages of evolution, both terrestrial and post-terrestrial.

Here I am now in better harmony with the universe, along with all earthly life forms. I realize that we are part of a symbiotic organism with a common belonging: the DNA!

2023 - The adventure continues...

During the 80s and 90s, before he left the planet, Tim Leary advocated the idea of connecting (in-tune) with the new technology. Adapting to change...persevering with our cosmic mutation by staying connected to our home planet (our Home Base). Be a Proactive Post-Terrestrial Evolutionary Agent in our daily lives.

"Think for yourself and Question authority".

My loose translation: "Think for yourself and Ask questions".
Yes, the human adventure continues and for my humble part, I thank DNA for creating Timothy Leary and putting him on my path!

In my understanding of Tim Leary, he seemed to be telling us:"Don't sell my cosmic salad, sell your own! If you are inspired by my proposal for evolution, do-make it your own.
